In 1999, Macromedia set up the hottest game site on the web and went looking for the very best Shockwave Developers to contribute.

As of this writing (September 1999), the Shockwave.com collection of superb games includes five created by Adveractive: Ice Hockey, Sports Trivia Tiles, Freefall, Luge and a brand new Shockwave epic called Merlin's Quest.

Adveractive was chosen by Macromedia for the Merlin's Quest project when Intel asked them: "Which would be the best Shockwave developer to create a breakthrough, showcase game featuring Intel's new Web Design Effects technology."

Adveractive developed the concept for this master game (which contains 5 separate, complex games within it) working closely with the design team at Shockwave.com and the technical folks at Intel.
