1)
Click on a square in the puzzle to make its Across Clue active.
Click a second time on the same square to make its Down Clue
active (or press the SPACEBAR to toggle between Down and Across).
2)
The pink square is the "active" square in a clue.
As you type it, it will move to highlight each active letter
until you get to the end of an answer.
3)
To move onward to the next answer (that goes in the same direction),
press either the ENTER key or TAB key.
4)
PC Users - Delete a letter you have typed by clicking its
square and pressing the DELETE key - that square will remain
the "active" letter. Delete a series of letters
in an answer by using the BACKSPACE key - the "active"
letter will move backwards with each press.
5)
Mac Users - Delete a letter you have typed by clicking its
square and pressing the DEL key - that square will remain
the active letter. Delete a series of letters in an answer
by using the DELETE key - the "active" letter will
move backwards with each press.

Click any clue in the Across or Down clue lists to highlight
that answer in the puzzle and set the "active" letter
to the first letter of the answer.
7)
If you drag another window across the top of the puzzle, the
puzzle may temporarily disappear (because of the way it is
"drawn" on the screen.) Click the "Refresh
Drawing" button to redraw the puzzle.
8)
You may check your score any time during the game by clicking
and holding down the "Show Score" button. This will
also show you (pink highlight) any incorrect letters you have
entered.
9)
