Drip-Drop

Drive your visitors nuts --- the old Chinese Water Torture.

Click the little speaker icon to turn the sound off and on.

New version: allows you to preset the sound on or off from the EMBED tag, by using the swSound parameter.

The swSound parameter accepts the following four values:
on Sound is initially on, can be turned off by user with the speaker icon (this is the default).
off Sound is initially off, can be turned on by user.
always Sound is always on, cannot be turned off by user.
never Sound is always off, cannot be turned on by user.

When the swSound parameter = "never" or "always" the speaker icon is hidden.

Drip-Drop is small, only around 8k with dimensions of 48 Wide by 360 Pixels Tall.

In order to display Drip-Drop on your WEB page, you have to include an EMBED tag for the movie in your HTML document. The syntax for this tag is:

<EMBED SRC="movies/dripdrop.dcr" WIDTH=48 HEIGHT=360 TEXTFOCUS=never ALIGN=Left vspace=0 hspace=15 swSound="on">

This example assumes that the movie file, "dripdrop.dcr" is in the directory "movies", which is a subdirectory of the directory on your server that contains your HTML document.
If you create the same setup on your server, you can copy the example into your HTML document. If your server setup is different, you must edit the SRC attribute in the EMBED tag accordingly. It's best to use a relative pathname, like in the example.
Anyone who has the Shockwave extension installed will be able to see Drip-Drop on your WEB page.You can also include a NOEMBED tag, to display an alternative text or picture to users who don't have the Shockwave plugin installed.
The NOEMBED tag should follow the EMBED tag in your document, and it has the following syntax:

<NOEMBED>
<IMG align=middle SRC="pics/dripdrop.gif"><BR>
"You could see this picture move if you get the Shockwave plugin!!"
</NOEMBED>

Whatever you put between the <NOEMBED> and </NOEMBED> tags is your own business as long as it is valid HTML code.
