The most recent version of TSM, version 2.1, is not available at this site. This is because TSM has aquired a number of new features, which caused it to grow a bit and it no longer qualifies as a Shock-bauble (which should be under 12K, remember?), it is now around 20K.

The new version of TSM is available at the TSM home page. However you can still download version 1.0 from this site.

What is Times Square Marquee?

Times Square Marquee is a Shockwave movie that reads a textfile and displays the text in it.

You can display any text in it by simply editing your text file (you can change the message daily, hourly, any way you would like to!).

Times Square Marquee is small (under 12 K) and the text file is no larger than you make it. The text limit is probably around 32 K (the variable size limit of Director).
